NHS Steroid Emergency Card

The NHS Steroid emergency card is a patient-held prompt for healthcare professionals, for use when a patient is in crisis.  

It contains write-in space for individual details such as name, NHS identity number, date of birth, why a steroid has been prescribed, and emergency contact details.

It is a credit card size to fit into your wallet and also has a QR code that links to further specialist advice on the Society for Endocrinology website.

This card is the same as the ones that can be provided by your GP or endocrinologist.
