Summary Care Letter

A letter for you to 'fill out' and send to your GP to ask that they update your Summary Care Records to ensure that your diagnosis of adrenal insufficiency is noted, and that it notes you are steroid dependent.

This will ensure that in an emergency, medical staff will have the information they need to provide you with the right time-critical treatment.

This letter has been jointly authored by the ADSHG and Pituitary Foundation and reviewed by the ADSHG Clinical Advisory Panel.
